There is no denying the rise in cosmetic surgery popularity, but 89 percent of cosmetic procedures did not involve actual surgery. That adds up to 15.9 million minimally invasive, non-surgical procedures—an increase of 228 percent since 2000 according to the ASPS. This speaks to the growing popularity of procedures that improve your appearance and reduce the signs of aging without the risk and recovery time involved with surgery.
