[GLOW Surgical Arts](https://blog.glowsurgicalarts.com/author/glow-surgical-arts) May 2, 2016 Weight loss can improve your health, make you feel better, and enhance your physical appearance, ![If I Lose Weight, Will I Lose My Curves?](https://blog.glowsurgicalarts.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/maintaining-curves-after-weight-loss-2.jpg)but there’s a downside to losing weight that most women don’t anticipate. You want to be healthy and take care of yourself, so you start exercising and following a healthy diet. You might feel happy about fitting into smallr sizes, and perhaps some of your problem areas are shrinking and you have more energy. But you may also notice weight loss in areas that don’t need improvement. Perhaps your breasts have grown smaller and you don’t have as much cleavage in low-cut tops and swimsuits. Or, perhaps your full and shapely bottom is looking flatter and gets lost in your favorite jeans. Unfortunately, nobody has control over which areas slim down first when weight loss occurs. If you’re hoping to achieve an hourglass shape with a full bust and curvy flanks, small waist and flat tummy, you may be disappointed when you lose weight and don’t achieve the figure you’ve been dreaming about. ## Fixes for more curves There are several great ways to get that curvy and sculpted look you deserve after all your hard work. In fact, there are a variety of ways to correct these issues with minimally invasive procedures or surgery. A cosmetic surgeon who specializes in the latest breast and body procedures can help you decide which procedures will benefit you the most. Here are your options: ## [Breast augmentation](https://www.glowsurgicalarts.com/our-procedures/breast/breast-augmentation/) As the number one cosmetic procedure in the country for years, you probably already know someone who’s had breast augmentation, and may even have considered the surgery for yourself. Breast augmentation helps you achieve an attractive bustline that can be customized for your figure. ## [Breast fat transfer](https://www.glowsurgicalarts.com/our-procedures/breast/) This newer option is for women who want a fuller bust but don’t want surgery. Many women prefer breast fat transfer because it gives you a two-for-one benefit: you have liposuction on areas from which you want fat eliminated such as the thighs or abdomen, then have that fat injected into your breasts. It’s important to note this procedure usually results in an increase of one cup size. If you’re looking for greater breast size, opt for breast augmentation instead. ## [Buttocks fat transfer](https://www.glowsurgicalarts.com/our-procedures/body/buttocks-augmentation/) During a procedure similar to breast fat transfer, liposuction is used to harvest fat from another area. This fat is then strategically injected into the buttocks to give them a fuller, rounder shape. This is safer and less invasive than buttock implants. If you’ve lost weight and feel disappointed about the loss of your curves, consult with a skilled cosmetic surgeon about which procedures may be right for you.
